Travis grew up outside of Kelowna, British Columbia before completing his undergraduate studies at both the University of Victoria in Victoria and Vancouver Island University in Nanaimo. He attended the University of Alberta in Edmonton for law school and practiced with a regional law firm in Alberta prior to relocating to Nanaimo in 2018. Travis has a solid track record of delivering legal services to major insurers, adjusters and self-insured organizations, including the defence of tort claims, coverage disputes, and advancing subrogated claims.  He also provides legal services to employers with respect to employment issues and conducts workplace investigations across British Columbia.

 

Travis has appeared in both the Supreme Court and Provincial Court of British Columbia as well as similar levels of court in Alberta.
